One, I like the idea of recycle, reduce, reuse. I like knowing that when I sell something online, it’s actually going to a real person who wants the item. Sometimes, I feel like when I donate, it’s just going into a black hole. I still donate but I like to try to get it to an end user before trying the middle person.
Two, it makes us reevaluate our purchases. More often than we like to admit, we get the urge to spend and we indulge. And sometimes we make some bad purchases. It takes a lot of time to sell online to just get a buck back (and that buck probably reimburse us for the packing material) but it makes us more conscientious about how we spend our money. It’s better to learn this lesson the hard way than one if us raining on the other’s shopping spree. It’s more fun to just join in.
Hi, my name is Sharon and I have a problem. I’m a shopaholic. Sometimes.
